Good theatre kid

What makes a good theatre student? There are many great answers to that question, but I'll tell you how I am a good theatre student.

1) If other students around me are struggling or have questions, I try to help them out the best I can! Whether it's on choreo or even just finding a pitch or remembering lyrics. I love to help!

2) I am not afraid to ask questions, even if they are so stupid and my friends yell at me for asking them, I will ask if I'm confused. That is good because, maybe there are people in the group that have the same questions as me, but are too scared to ask. That way the get an answer and leave all the embarrassment to me.

3) I'm often told I have a lot of energy when I dance and sing, or just even when I talk. That's good because other people around me will feel that energy and feed off of it and get excited as well! Also it looks good.

Some goals I hold:

One of my goals for this year, is to become more comfortable with some of the older people around me. I know a lot of the students I'm working with, but there are some that I don't know and it's hard for me to make new friends or even acquaintances.

Also, surprisingly, remembering some of the choreo. Mostly in the bigger numbers because there is a lot going on, and I'm trying to process it all while simultaneously trying no to fall of the stage.

And lastly, while learning the chroeo, my tone and singing are not always the prettiest, so that for sure something to work on. Practice how you play.

Growth:

I feel I have for sure grown since the start of theatre. My sing is always getting better as is my dancing and people skills. I'm very excited and proud of the years musical already and cannot wait to grow some more.
